DPP4EU 2026 Conference
The DPP4EU 2026 Conference is a leading European forum dedicated to advancing the implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs). Organised by EU projects DigiPass CSA, CE-RISE, and EuMINe COST Action, together with CEN-CENELEC JTC 24, the event brings together experts from research, industry, and policy to drive forward digitalisation for sustainability and circularity.
The BASE project will be represented at the conference, contributing to discussions on Digital Battery Passports and their role in enabling transparent, traceable, and circular battery value chains.
About the Event
The conference is designed as a clustering platform for EU and Member State-funded initiatives working on various aspects of DPPs. It focuses on the digitalisation and sharing of product and material data to support sustainability goals and circular economy strategies.
It aims to facilitate open discussions and exchange of insights on key aspects such as technical implementation, data standardisation, IT infrastructure, and digital business models. The programme also explores links between DPPs and Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design frameworks, as well as implications for digital manufacturing.
Programme Highlights
The event will feature keynote sessions, technical discussions, and collaborative workshops bringing together experts across multiple domains.
Key highlights include:
- Cross-project collaboration on DPP, SSbD, and materials data ecosystems
- Dedicated satellite sessions on Battery Passports, circularity, and environmental and socio-economic impact
